OUR ROOTS

New Media Nashville began as a series of experiments by artist and technologist John Holmes. What started as a personal practice quickly attracted a circle of artists, coders, and cultural organizers drawn to the same question: what if art could work like cultural infrastructure, and technology could inspire awe without the exploitation? Formally launched in 2025, NMN is rooted in Nashville’s emerging creative scene but speaks to global concerns.
